Job Description

The Investment Intern supports the firm’s insurance solutions, relationship management, and performance teams. A successful intern will utilize mathematical and creative skills to provide a variety of analyses that are required by our insurance company clients. The ideal candidate has a balance of strong quantitative and communication skills, as well as enthusiasm for independent thinking and the ability to excel under general supervision.


A typical day will include exposure to:

-  Asset/liability management
-  Income and tax forecasting
-  Quantitative investment analytics
-  Chart and table composition for marketing and client presentations
-  Analysis and creation of reports from financial statement databases
-  Performance measurement and attribution analytics


This job might be for you if:

-  You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other related technical fields
-  You have strong quantitative analytical abilities
-  You are experienced with the Microsoft Office suite of products
-  You possess excellent written and oral communication skills

-  You want to seek a career in asset management
-  You have considered pursuing CFA and/or actuarial designations
